Since
declaring his aspirations to become an actor at the age of three, Jake Richardson has been
on Hollywood's fast track to stardom. Jake can currently be seen in the new movies
"Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back," "Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back,"
and the upcoming feature film "Hangman's Curse." Jake can also be seen in the leading
role of Wade in the new Jodie Foster produced movie, "The Dangerous Lives of Altar
Boys," opposite Jodie Foster and Jena Malone. He also plays a lead role in the
Wonderful World Of Disney telefilm "Toothless" with Kirstie Alley and Ross
Malinger, directed by Melanie Mayron. Previously he had starring roles in the TV
movies "Fudge-A-Mania" and "Problem Child III: Junior In Love," and
made guest appearances on "7th Heaven," "C-16," "The Nanny"
and "Hearts Afire."
Perhaps best known for his series regular role as Peter on the popular ABC series
"Fudge," Jake has also starred as Mitch in Walt Disney Pictures' "Honey, We
Shrunk Ourselves" and as Reggie Van Dough in the Warner Home Video family comedy
"Richie Rich's Christmas Wish." He also played Derek in the independent
film "Little Cobras," which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Jake's talents have been utilized off-camera as well. He created the voices for
the animated series "Duckman" and "Real Monsters," and brought the
immortal "Peanuts" cartoon character Pig Pen to life in a well-received series
of commercials for Regina Vacuums. Most recently, Jake voiced the role of Cucko in
Disney's "Recess" and Junior in "Psycho Ferret." He enjoys
voice-over work because "you don't have to get into hair and make up, and you can
even wear your own clothes!"
Famous for keeping fellow cast members laughing with his own unique brand of stand-up
comedy, Jake is an athletic 20-year-old who loves snow boarding, skate boarding, and
surfing. He's a fan of alternative, punk, swing, and oldies music, and admires such
actors as Denzel Washington, Joe Pesci, Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie and Kate Hudson.
Jake would love to meet Jay Leno someday and talk to him about vintage cars; Jake wants
his opinion on what he should buy for a restoring project. He also recently
fulfilled one of his dreams of working with Kevin Smith, director of "Jay and Silent
Bob Strike Back."
Jake lives in Los Angeles with his parents, Tim and Chris, and older brothers, Justin
and Dana.
